INCENTAGE Middleware Suite (IMS) has been awarded the
SWIFTReady Gold Financial EAI 2007 certification confirming that the product satisfies SWIFT's (www.swift.com) highest standards for an EAI product.

The INCENTAGE RulesStudio has integrated message
definitions for all SWIFT message types. This combined with the standard RulesStudio functionality greatly
speeds up the SWIFT message transformation process. With the INCENTAGE philosophy, formulating the
conversion rules is a pleasing experience that does not require any
programming skills. It allows implementation of the solution by exactly the
people that understand the business problem. An enormous conversion
flexibility that eliminates the need for coding means that projects can be
implemented faster using INCENTAGE than by any other means.
INCENTAGE uses a data dictionary to contain all definitions of SWIFT
messages, blocks and fields. This releases enormous flexibility for
its users - allowing meaningful business names to be used for data
items. It also separates syntax specific rules (such as the formatting
of FIN messages) from the business level mapping of messages.
The SWIFT FIN set of messages have two layers of validation in
INCENTAGE. They are validated syntactically to ensure data integrity
(such as valid dates, valid ISIN, valid BIC etc.) - and they are validated
to ensure that they make application sense (e.g. ensuring that exchange
rates are present when required). All of these validations are
specified by SWIFT - and have been implemented inside the INCENTAGE
Middleware.
Using the flexibility of the INCENTAGE RulesStudio, INCENTAGE has implemented the Market
Practices guidelines as specified by the Securities Market Practice Group
(see www.smpg.info). The presence of
these rules in our customers configuration ensures the highest levels of STP in
the securities messaging area.
SWIFT has defined over 250 message types in its FIN package. The
INCENTAGE middleware supports them all.
The INCENTAGE Middleware Suite includes a Message creation, viewing and modification module. This has been designed in such a way that it supports all message types that are supported by INCENTAGE. So, in the SWIFT area, all message types are covered.
INCENTAGE provides a direct link to customers' copy of the BIC (ISO Bank
Identification Code) database - or the BIC+ database - where
available. This delivers the advantage or greater validation of the
codes used in messages. It also greatly enhances the
transformational abilities of INCENTAGE based solutions by enabling
automatic translation of national or proprietary codes to the standard BIC.
INCENTAGE has included a set of tools in IMS to ensure that
the messaging standards in use are the latest issued by SWIFT.
Automated processes bring all technical implementations up to
date. They also highlight well ahead of time any implications such
updates may have on customer installations.
The INCENTAGE Middleware has in-built ability to communicate with SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA) and SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG). The software is capable of handling the InterAct and FileAct protocals - both in Real Time and Store and Forward.
